Delivery Policies and Guidelines
The Rustic Mile offers delivery within our delivery area (150 mile radius of store locations).
When your merchandise is available, we will call you to set up a convenient delivery date. Here are a few guidelines to make your delivery go smoothly:
- The Rustic Mile and its employees are not responsible for accidental damage of your walls, floors, staircases, antiques, art, etc. during delivery.
- Please ensure that the location of delivery is accessible for a 26’ box truck with a clearance of 13’ x 10’.
- The Rustic Mile assumes no responsibility for accidental damages to property.
- All orders must be paid in full prior to scheduling a delivery.
- Late Cancellation Fee— All deliveries cancelled within 48 hours of scheduled delivery day will incur a restocking fee. We request that you accept delivery of merchandise within 10 days of being notified. If this is inconvenient, please let us know so we can make other arrangements. Otherwise, The Rustic Mile reserves the right to release your order(s).
- We will call you within 30 minutes of a scheduled delivery date with an estimated time frame for the delivery of your merchandise.
- Someone 18 years of age or older must be home to accept delivery.
- Clear the Way— Please have a pathway cleared through your home, to the room in which the furniture or mattress will be placed along with clearing the room where the furniture is going. If a delivery requires the removal of a door, please make necessary arrangements in advance of scheduled delivery.
- Deliveries made above the FIRST floor without access to an elevator will be subject to an additional charge.
- Our delivery associates CANNOT move or remove existing furniture. The Rustic Mile is not responsible for ensuring your furniture will fit in doorways, stairwells, halls, etc. Please measure accordingly to ensure all furniture will fit in its designated spot. Any items sent back because they do not fit are subject to a 35% restocking fee as well as round trip/shipping & handling fees incurring by The Rustic Mile.
- Shoe Removal Policy— Due to corporate safety policies and OSHA guidelines, our delivery associates are prohibited from removing their boots at any time.
- If scheduling conflicts arise, please call The Rustic Mile at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled delivery. Less than 48-hour notice will result in a handling fee equal to the delivery charge. The phone number is on the front of the invoice.
